Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater - 5 day Camping Safari
Experience life changing wildlife in its natural habitat and enjoy the evenings in romantic camp sites. See three of Tanzania’s best game parks: Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Manyara. This makes your visit to East Africa a truly complete experience. The best in Tanzania!
With its extensive wildlife, this region offers one of the most fantastic experiences in the world, the Small Five and the famous Big Five. With its varied terrain and size, the safari is only one part of the Serengeti – the landscape is stunning.
Let us guide and support you through the dramatic highlands of Tanzania to the impressive Lake Manyara National Park. The park is a grand gem, stretching for 50 000 square meters along the base of the gold rusty 600 meter high Rift Valley cliff. Ernest Hemingway praised the landscape as ”the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. Our guests will be introduced to giraffes, large buffalo, wildebeest and herds of zebra that all flock on the plains of grass where the acacia belt wood, borders to the favored haunt of Manyara’s magnificent tusked elephants, fabulous tree climbing lions and large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. The ecologically diverse wildlife of the plains is a miraculous vista from our camp site at the Great Rift Valley’s rim.
Before moving on to the countryside, we travel south of the park to visit Maji Motos – algae streaked sulphur hot water springs heated from deep within the earth.
Our 5 day trip continues to the colossal Serengeti National Park, it means ”endless pain” in Maasai. The massive expanse of Lake Victoria and the eastern arm of Rift Valley surrounds this protected park creating a landscape truly astonishing to experience.
Moving forward, our trip goes through the geological rarity called the Shifting Sands which is a sacred Maasain route. The crater is home for thousands of animals, creating the world’s largest conservation area. A breathtaking heritage site.
Your best months for a Safari
Temperatures don't vary much throughout the year. Still there are differences for your Safari experience.
June to October:
You like the best and don't mind crowds.
June and July:
Wildebeest migration in Serengeti.
At least 3 months booking ahead is highly recommended.
January, February, May:
You prefer it a bit calmer and not much less interesting.
Late January and February:
Wildebeest calving in Serengeti
November and December:
Just as good and not so busy
March and April:
You don't mind some rainy days.
Serengeti still gets visitors, the southern parks have low traffic.

Day 2:
After breakfast our path takes us to Serengeti, driving through the animal kingdom. We search for rhino, elephant, leopard, buffalo and lion – The Big Five, while experiencing the thrilling vastness of the plains of Serengeti.
We arrive at the Serengeti Seronera Camp Site as the sun decorates the landscape and animal kingdom.
Day 3:
Full day exploring Serengeti national park, We have dinner and spend the night at the Seronera Camp Site after having spent the whole day on the Serengeti moving from different locations in search of occasionally elusive game and visiting hippos and alligators at a waterhole.
Day 4:
Your camera wills over worked when we continue our experience by going across the Serengeti in the morning where we will take in a lot of breathtaking animal sightings. We then move forward to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, where you will be stunned by the number and diversity of birdlife and animals. Standing or sitting in our safari vehicles, the viewing moments are infinite – just deciding which way to look is challenging, the alternatives are endless. The buzz of spotting a member of the Big Five – maybe a black rhino or a lioness perched high atop a nearby outcrop, we rush with our safari vehicle to spot them before the moment passes. Perhaps we might see a lioness and her cubs just beside us, the excitement of the situation is indescribable.
These memories will stay with you for your whole life.
The night we spend at the Simba Camp Site.
